Burning Garden

Velvet rose petals fall with the sunrise.

The garden of peace shone bright like Eden.

The sunlight filled the flowers like fresh wine.

It bloomed with complex hue and fair reason.

Cherries blossom with the morning poppies.

Orchard trees surround the bruising landmark.

Succulent fruits bleed from the raspberries.

Warmth released with haste the ember fresh spark.

Fire tears through the blood maroon symbol.

It pulls the scarlet crimson blades apart.

Roses fall and bleed with ruby appall.

Rage is from the cage of its shattered heart.

Passion seen throughout the blazing red trees,

And so to the burning garden I plead.
