I am a worm

I am a worm who sees himself as a god,

A worm who wants to escape to the stars,

But how is a worm supposed to reach that far,

For there has never been a worm to ascend to heaven,

I am a worm who can’t stand the sight of dirt,

Seeking what is beyond unaware it is just more earth,

For I am no good at being a worm.
